Product Description

COMPOSITION: (per vaginal tablet)

• Nystatin …………………………………. 100,000 IU

INDICATIONS:

• Treatment of vaginal Candidiasis caused by Candida species.

CONTRAINDICATIONS:

• Hypersensitivity to Nystatin.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:

• The tablet should be moistened before insertion. Immerse the tablet in cooled boiled water for approximately 20 seconds.
• Insert deeply into the vagina: 1–2 tablets daily, morning and evening, for 20 consecutive days.
• Thereafter, insert 1 tablet in the evening for 4 additional days after symptoms have resolved.

DRUG INTERACTIONS:

• Antifungal activity against Candida albicans may be reduced when used concomitantly with riboflavin phosphate.
